Upcoming change in the Chairmanship of the Board of Directors of RUAG International Holding Ltd
The President of RUAG International Holding AG, Dr. Remo Lütolf, will reach the age limit of 70 years applicable to federal enterprises during the next election period. As agreed with the owner, he will not stand for re-election at the General Meeting on May 20, 2025.
The succession process falls under the responsibility of the Federal Council. The parliamentary decision on March 10, 2025, regarding the motions submitted by the Security Policy Committees of the National Council and by Councilor Dittli represents a key milestone for the future direction of RUAG International and its Board of Directors. The motions either call for a halt to the privatization of its space business Beyond Gravity or seek to allow it under clear conditions.
