High Cadence Satellite Manufacturing

Beyond Gravity has developed an automated potting process for our patented GreDom® Inserts. This process has been used to manufacture and flight-prove over 650 OneWeb satellites. In addition to this potting technology, we have also established an industrialized manufacturing line to ensure the process-stable production of high volumes of satellite structure panels. Automated Potted Insert: A Revolutionary Solution for Satellite Manufacturing

Automated potted inserts are a revolutionary new way to manufacture satellite structures, offering a number of advantages over traditional methods, including reduced weight, increased strength, improved reliability, and reduced costs.

Beyond Gravity is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of automated potted inserts for spacecraft. Our automated potted insert process is highly sophisticated and precise, and it involves the use of a state-of-the-art automated potting machine (APM) that performs all of the necessary steps required to place an insert into a satellite structure, including shaping the panel, drilling the insert holes, applying the adhesive, and placing the insert.

Our flagship product, GreDom® inserts, are made from a lightweight and high-strength aluminum alloy and potted in place using a proprietary process that ensures a strong and reliable bond. GreDom® inserts offer a number of advantages over traditional bonded inserts, including reduced weight, increased strength, improved reliability, and reduced costs.

Beyond Gravity's automated potted insert process is ideal for a variety of satellite applications, including satellite backbones, instrument platforms, solar panel supports, payload fairings, and deployable structures. Our inserts have been successfully flown on a number of spacecraft missions, including OneWeb and MetOp.
